Dr. Craig Young hails from Logan, Utah, and spent his formative years in Pleasant Grove, Utah. In 2016, he graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Young’s academic prowess shone brightly during his time at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine (Arizona), where he graduated as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2020 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

While at Midwestern University, Dr. Young garnered numerous accolades, including the Outstanding Preclinical Student Award for two consecutive years and the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon: Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence. He was also honored with the Oral Health Scholarship Award from the Oral Health Foundation Pierre Fauchard Academy for his exceptional leadership and academic achievements in dental education, alongside the American Dental Foundation Dental Student Scholarship.

Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Young completed a comprehensive 2.5-year residency in orthodontics at the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, culminating in the attainment of his Master of Science in Dentistry in 2022.

Dr. Young is an esteemed member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. His commitment to continuing education is evident through his certifications, including the Aligner Intensive Fellowship Certification from Invisalign, the Academy of Laser Dentistry Certification, and the Global Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.

Driven by a passion for service, Dr. Young actively contributes to his community by providing free dental care to underserved populations, including children, veterans, and adults, through initiatives such as Give Kids a Smile and Super Sealant Saturday.

When not providing exceptional care to his patients, Dr. Young enjoys woodworking, culinary adventures in the kitchen, and nurturing his green thumb in the garden, albeit with varying success. He finds solace in outdoor pursuits like hiking, camping, and traveling, often accompanied by his wife and four wonderful children.

A devoted fan of FC Barcelona and the Utah Jazz, Dr. Young’s enthusiasm for sports is infectious. He eagerly anticipates discussing the latest game during your next appointment.
